Huma Qureshi Goes Elegant In Rimple and Harpreet Narula & Mahesh Notandass for Eid Celebrations!

Hello lovelies!

Monsoon is here and so are the festivities. Yesterday was Eid and most of the celebrities were soaked in the celebrations, having fun, splurging on delicious food and of course, my favourite part – dressed in beautiful clothes.

So we spotted HUMA QURESHI in a RIMPLE AND HARPREET NARULA creation for her Eid celebrations.

Though I am not a fan of the color brown, but here we see a mix of light brown and skin color. The embroidery on the neck, sleeves, hem and the dupatta is eye-catching. We generally tend to see bright hues like red, maroon, blue in festive creations but this is slightly different. What I liked the most about this outfit is that it is manageable and easy to carry unlike other heavy Indian creations. Looks festive but at the same time is enough to make you strike an elegant appearance.

Huma accessorised her traditional look with earrings and ring from MAHESH NOTANDASS . This is just the right amount of jewellery that you need to wear with an Indian outfit.

She opted for a side-swept ponytail and absolutely minimal makeup.

Actress TAMANNAAH BHATIA recently attended a wedding and for this, she chose to wear a lovely creation by designer TAMANNA PUNJABI KAPOOR.

Tamannaah always looks gorgeous in whatever she wears. Be it Indian or Western fashion, this lady surely knows how to nail every look. I keep falling in love with every look of hers I come across.

This Tamanna Punjabi Kapoor sharara gives us major festive vibes and looks the perfect outfit to wear at a friend’s wedding or reception party. The yellow colour is associated with happiness and positivity and the stunning silver detailing catches your eye. The neck has been kept stylish and the green dupatta adds a contrasting effect to this wonderful ensemble.

Tamannaah opted for a pretty hairdo and radiant makeup. She was styled by Sanjana Batra.

Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing great!

Today, I’ll be telling you what I wore to an engagement party. Traditional outfits exude eternal charm like no other. This is the only reason I love Indian wear and they always prove to be my most favourite pick.

For this function, I decided to try something different. I bought a salwar-kameez suit dress material from KINNARI GARDEN VARELI which is a big clothing house in Vile Parle, Mumbai, India. After going through many dress materials, I settled for a beautiful one.

Then, I got this dress material stitched from the nearby tailor. When this dress material took the shape of a salwar-kameez suit with dupatta, I was left speechless. It exuded timeless elegance and beauty which was totally irresistible from the first glance.

The bewitching combination of red and black has always won my heart and it was also making my outfit look exceptionally gorgeous. Fabulously printed, this salwar-kameez set made me stand out at the venue. The light weight dupatta adds grace to the entire outfit.

I completed my look with a high ponytail, elegant makeup, a small red bindi , jewellery from Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers and matching pumps.

Hope you like the look! 🙂

The outfit featured above is designed by internationally acclaimed fashion designers FALGUNI AND SHANE PEACOCK.

This dress is simply pretty and was showcased at India Bridal Week 2013.

Immensely gorgeous, the dress has been set in soft hues of light pink which sends down cool and soothing vibes.

The golden work and the full-sleeved blouse accentuate the ‘Maharani’ look.

You can opt to wear it for your wedding or reception and pair it with heavy bridal jewellery.

This is a marvellous creation by my most favourite fashion designer MANISH MALHOTRA.

The texture is raw silk and I love the graceful Maroon color. Raw silk looks best in bright colors! Sequin is there on the neck, back and net short sleeves.

This spellbinding creation has elaborate zardozi embroidery which adds to the regal touch. The dupatta is light in weight so that you can carry this ornately designed creation easily.

Incredibly lovely, you can wear this outfit to weddings and functions and capture unwavering attention.

I’m sure you loved it!

Didn’t you?

Let’s take a look at an outfit from my favourite designer SONAAKSHI RAAJ :

Move from the traditional way of draping a sari and adopt this unconventional style of sari draping.

The outfit is a part of Sonaakshi’s Spring-Summer 2014 collection which was showcased at Lakme Fashion Week. The entire collection is set in satins and georgettes.

This peach color outfit is simply stunning and I’m loving the catchy golden blouse.

Wearing it will reflect your experimental taste for fashion. Pair this stylish outfit with nude makeup and statement earrings just like the model.

I had to attend a function at JW Marriott Hotel, Mumbai . All I could think of was opting for an Indian wear because this is a proven fact that ethnic wear always makes you stand out from the rest.

So, I decided to wear a super gorgeous anarkali from my favourite brand BIBA!

Take a look at what I wore :

Isn’t it breathtaking?!

I felt so beautiful in this anarkali.

The dress is heavily printed and embroidered and you can actually feel the heaviness while you walk. It simply exudes timeless beauty and grace.

I paired the anarkali with black pajami and high-heels. I always prefer to wear high-heels with anarkali suits as they tend to add oodles of confidence to your overall look.

I wanted to keep the look extremely elegant and thus, went for a minimal makeup and no-accessories look. This led to this vibrant and multi-coloured dress capturing all the attention. Also, I left my hair open for a vintage touch.

I was admired for my choice of dress and garnered lot of compliments!
